The UH Rainbow Babies & Children’s Hospital Safety Store offers a wide range of safety products, including baby proofing items, car seats, booster seats, carbon monoxide detectors, smoke detectors, personal safety items like medical alert IDs, special needs products like wheelchair ponchos and evacuation mats, and sports safety items like bike and ski helmets. All items are sold at cost, below retail prices.
To order, families must call the Rainbow Safety Store Hotline and make an appointment to pay for and pick up items at UH Rainbow; we are unable to ship or deliver Safety Store items. The Safety Store Hotline number is 216-844-2277 X 2. This hotline is monitored Monday through Friday, 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. If you’re calling during that time, you will receive a return phone call within 30 minutes. Calls received after 3 p.m. or on weekends will be returned on the morning of the next business day.
